Computer Restarts Itself

CPU/Ram: 2.4 GHZ / 512 MB
Product: Dell Dimension 2400

I have a computer that, until recently, worked fine. Whenever I turn the computer on, it stays on for about 5 minutes and then it restarts itself. It only does this if the computer is idle, though. HELP!

See event viewer logs to start.

Please check the SMPS of your Computer & Power connection. or it is a problem of shorting some thing is short in your computer. Please check.

some time ago i got same problem and when i change my pc power supply it is now working excelent.
some time it is due to ram? change the place of ram.
