I've had my computer for about 1 year. and recently it's been acting weird it overheats and shuts off. Now it's gotten so bad that when i try and surf the web for a few minutes it shuts off and dosen't turn on again. We've already spent over $100 trying to fix it and it's still not working. I'm so fustrated what can i do to fix it?

What kinds of a system? I don't see any system specs listed for you, so please post back with some more information. Is it a desktop or laptop machine? What have you done to fix the overheating problem so far? How do you know that it is an overheating issue?

Please reply with the answers so that we can better assist you. Thanks!

"We've already spent over $100 trying to fix it and it's still not working"

$100? Wow! The most common causes of overheating are dust build-up on the heatsinks & fan blades, or a bad fan. It could also be the heatsink got knocked loose from the CPU, but that doesn't happen under normal use. Did you move or drop the case? Open the case to work on something? Did you remove the heatsink to clean it & then forget to use thermal paste when you reinstalled it? or possibly used WAY too much paste?
