Ok. I was coping a music CD onto my computer; about an hour later I go into check on it. So I press a key on my keyboard to exit my screensaver, and my screensaver froze. So I turned off the computer, and turned it back on. So my desktop comes on, and it shows my wallpaper, but NO icons, NO start menu bar. I can right click and a shortcut menu will come up (the only menu that will show), and I had my "show icons" checked and everything. I can't even go into "safe mode", because everything is invisible.

I put in a CD-Rom into my computer to see if that would work; but I can only hear the music, nothing else.

Can Someone Please Help Me Fix This Problem?
Thanks.

Reboot with the XP CD..and go into the recovery console..when you get the command prompt, type %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe, press ENTER.

Follow the prompts.
