When i turned my computer on the monitor didnt work. The computer continued to work fine, i just couldnt see anything. It also made 3 or 4 loud beeps as it started up. (The monitor was on)

So I checked the connection between the PC and the monitor, checked if anything had come loose inside the computer ect, but it didnt fix it.

I would really appretiate any responce to help me. Thanks

(I am writting this on a second computer)

The beeps have meaning. Probably graphics card failure.

Either than or your power supply is faulty, you should

1) open the case and check that the graphics card is seated correctly in the motherboard

2)Note down the number of beeps and in which sequence LONG or SHORT - then check online to see what they are

3)try another PSU (Power Supply Unit) usually a small fault in one of these can stop the computer from functioning.

one thing to note is that even tho your fans spin, lights come on etc this doesnt mean that your PSU is fully functional.

Hope this helps
