Hey friends,
I have been having this problem since last few months and have been ignoring it.
Now finally I think it is time to get some solution for it.
We are using a desktop since last almost 2years now. This desktop is been heavily used and sometimes on for round the clock.
Now this computer is making too much of noise. Looks like it is coming from the cabinet.

Open the case and remove (blow out) all the dust; especially around ALL fans.

While removing the dust is sound advice it seldom clears excessive noise problems. I would look at the fans that are running. I would suspect a bearing going bad. See if you can localize where the noise is coming from inside the tower case. If it is a fan just replace it.
