Hello Computing.Net Users, I really do hope you can help.

Basically I have had a computer for a about 2 years now and basically trying to troubleshoot the problem, but need your help. Basically a few months ago I had used the computer as a web server, and left it on 24/7 which everyone "online" said was fine.

Unfortunately, after about a month, I noticed it wasn't on, went to check it, and kept hearing beep noises as I have kept it downstairs. Went to check, and it just kept turning on, restarting, turning on, restarting. I tried turning the power off, turning it back on, but still, kept restarting.
I couldn't see anything, just the BIOS LOGO would appear "Acer" then cut off again.
I couldn't even reformat the PC because of it!

Anyway, I left it off for a few days, and surprisingly it's working, I booted it up, it came onto Windows XP and was working again, but now and then it suddenly just switches off. Then it goes back into restarting - few seconds - cut off - restarting again.

As I'm quite good with computers, I thought I would be able to find the fault, but opened the PC up, everythings perfectly fine inside, fans are running, all cables are secure.

Can anyone come up with a solution to this?
I've never had this kind of problem before, but googling around I found that it could be the motherboard? power supply? or hard drive.

Just to give you additional info: I have formatted it back to xp, but still the issue is coming back.

test the ram. Test the power supply. If you just formatted and re-installed xp and are having the same issues....probably hardware.
