I had my computer for about 3/4 years and its been
working fine, but recently its been restarting itself at
random points. I'll be browsing the internet, looking up
stuff and it will just shut down and restart itself. It turns
back on and says that Windows shutted down to
prevent itself from a crash, but i've done a virus check
and there's nothing wrong. And i tried doing a windows
update from the microsoft website but the page never
loads. But the internet is working fine e.g google.com
and whatnot is all working. Anybody might know
whats wrong with the computer and how to resolve this
issue? Thank you!

Right click My Computer,
Properties,
Advanced tab,
Settings button (Startup and Recovery),
uncheck Automatically Restart. Now you should get an error message when it happens again.
