Hi can anyone help me, i have picked up a virus on my computer which is a trojan, adclicker called adspipe.dll. i have found the file but my computer will not allow me to delete it
It doesnt effect anything but keeps putting adverts on my screen. Is this dll file critical if not how can i delete it and clean my hard drive.. I Have Norton antivirus installed which alerts me to the problem but won't get rid of it. Many thanks

Disable System Restore and then scan the drive. After deleting any infected files, restart and then re-enable System Restore.

I also recommend that SuperAntispyware that Abnormal listed above. A very thorough and effective scanner, and it gets updated with new definitions very frequently too.
