Computer Hangs Freequently
Hi, I am a new member here and will like to share a problem.
For last few days, my Computer is frequently and irritatingly getting hanged.
sometime even just after the boot is complete. My computer is not part of any network (but I use Internet (ADSL)).I dont have clear idea of the processes in the Start up and other services running. Stopping few sercives may check the problem. But I dont know which are essential and which are not. I am listing below Start up processes and other services running.
Thanks in advance, if anyone guides me what services should I stop to avoid unnecessary pressure on RAM.

>> My computer is not part of any network (but I use Internet (ADSL)). <<
In that case your computer is part of a network. The Internet is a network.
Why do you have Internet Connection Sharing installed if this is the only computer connected to the Internet. You only need ICS if you have a computers on a Local Area Network all trying to share the same Internet connection.
>> No Graphics/Video Card <<
You must have a graphics/video card otherwise you wouldn't see anything on the screen
I would get rid of google Update Server. I wouldn't trust anything with Google in its name unless I knew exactly what it was doing.
Whats this Background Intelligent Transfer Service? Looks abit fishy to me. In fact there is a few things in that list that would set alarm bells ringing if it was on my computer.
All the items in the startup can be got rid of and only loaded as and when you need them.
First thing to do is run a memory check. Download an run memtest86. Let it run for a few hours and see if it throws up any errors.
http://www.memtest86.com/download.html
If memory checks out fine I would get someone who know what they are doing to look at the machine. You seem to have a lot of crap in there, especially all those server items.
