Specs: Windows XP
Hi, I'm really not techincal atall so please bear with me! I was downloading some photos onto my computer from a stick, computer was running fine. When I came to see if it had finished the computer was off. I tried pressing the power button, I could hear the computer fire up for a second then just shut down again. I've been looking on the internet and have tried pressing F1 or F8 or F12 and I have managed to get it started to a screen where it says to press F2 for the boot menu or F11 for something else, I pressed both of these at different times but the computer just shut down again, apart from one time where I esc from the menus and somehow loaded up to my desktop, but after a second the computer shut down again. I would really appreciate it if anyone has any ideas what so ever, many thanks

Sorry, got slightly muddled then, when I can get it to start up it say press F2 to run setup, F11 for the boot menu. When I press F2 it takes me to a BIOS menu but I just flicked through it as nothing made sense then exited.
