Is this a new or old cdrom drive.

Are the ribbon cables connected and is the power to the cdrom connected.

If new are the jumpers right,,,,,,

Need more information th be of any help

Dear Friend
First check the wire connections, then check in mainboard setup that it is enable or not?
if none of these ways help U, check in device manager that it is unable or enable?
And your problem did not solve with these solutions, maybe you install new program that change the registery.
