Hi,
Sometimes when I restart (whenever i make a change to the system it seems) the computer hangs on the first screen, Asus Motherboard information. The only way to make the computer start when this happens is to turn it off, unplug the power and wait for about 20 seconds. After plugging the power back in and starting up it works fine untill I make another change, then I need to unplug again. I have a Nvidia 6600 AGP graphics card which is well know to be a bit problematic at the moment, could this be causing these problems, as they started around the time i bought this card? Or could there be something else the matter with the pc? The motherboard is an Asus P4P800S SE, and i have the newest bios installed. I think it could be the graphics card. Any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.
Cheers
Alex

either u screwed around with your system and messed it up or, (TRY NOT TO MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR SYSTEM UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU"RE DOING!!!)maybe somethings wrong with your hardware. Like a defect or flaw in your video card, cpu, motherboard or bios. try taking the Computer back to the store where you bought it, if you still have warranty.

The video card could be the problem.
I had a problem with a freshly bought vid card
I took it out and no more problem.
The card could be defective.

Hi,
I built the computer from scratch, the only two things I recently installed were the graphics card and a new PSU. I hope it's not the psu which is a Tagen 480W. Could a PSU cause this crash, i'm not having any other problems with this PSU. It's probably the graphics card. There aren't any drivers that run the Nvidia 6600GT properly yet, could wrong drivers cause this problem? I might just see if I can RMA it, but i've had it since the beginning of January. Leadtek are a good company though, so I think they might.
Cheers
Alex
