Please note: In order to help you best, it is necessary that you post a detailed description of your problem, along with your system credentials and exactly what version of the Operating System you are running. Also, please post any other information that you feel may be important, such as utility programs that you have running. If you know the manufacturer of your system, please post this as well.

It would seem you have a major computer problem!

Hi Devaughn

probably the only thing you need to worry
about is the back plate , the bit where the onboard sound, keyboard, serial ports fit into the new case , some time the 'spare' plate included doesnt fit your pc motherboard, so check before you buy, as its a Dell you might experience the fact Dell seems to use alot of Dell customised bits which fit their cases fine but can be annoying to fit standard atx case, check out how your mobo is fixed to the current dell case, clips or plastic/ brass risers?.
has the motherboard got mounting holes or cliped in? compare to the new case before buying
Other things to compare are ide cable length maybe dell's are too short for the new case,
heres link to help

note 4th pic down the face plate,

I agree with post #3 as I have made this swap a few times. Usually a manufactured computer such a dell has their MOBOs and cases custom made to their specs and one has to do some modifying to make it fit in another case and this can be a troublesome venture although not impossible.

Some name brand manufacturers also have their own plugins from the front usb ports to the motherboards. You have to know connections for which wires coming from the new case front usb ports go to which pins on the mother boards. +, - and the data wires.
