My computer recently started lagging, audio skips, and application open slower, but not all that slow to 'unworkable conditions. what gets me is my windows restore NEVER complete when I try to restore to an earlier state. And my audio is skippping, like a person constantly tapping on the brakes every half second of a moving vehicle. Even my start up 'welcome' screen audio skips! I need help, and I've included a picture of my processes as well when this is happening.

Lilo, my guess is that you have something trying to run in the background using up machine cycles. First thought is some kind of nasty (Trojan maybe?) Think first thing I'd do is scan. HTH. Ed in Texas.
