When I turn my computer on it works for a while and then several loud beeps are heard and it shuts down all programmes and turns itself off. No messages are displayed. We thought it may have been a problem with the RAM so we replaced it however this has not made a difference. We are running Windows XP and Norton 2006. Any suggestions?
check the event viewer, go start -> run -> type eventvwr and press enter
