Most of the time when Media player is working

....yeah a little more info is needed.

I had a problem when i first installed XP that my computer would reboot just at any time, there wasn't a pattern....I later found out that my CPU was overheating and it got fried. :( (btw, I found out later this was due to my CPU fan...it was one of those circular heatsink fans and the blades weren't cut right and it was hitting the edges and not working properly....so it just goes to show you, YOU NEED TO LOOK INSIDE YOUR COMPUTER, every now and then.)

...that's most likely not your problem, but without proper info, no one can narrow it down. ;)

Try updating your video driver. I tried a beta release of nvidia drivers and it caused my pc to reboot while playing videos. When I went back to the lastest release of drives it stopped happening.

I had the same problem.

What kind of processor do you have (intel or amdahl)
I have got a new motherboard and a new cabinet.
Now the tempeture of the processor is about 45 gr in stead of 60 !!
So I think the temperature is the problem.
Now i haven't problems.

More info would help.....

I had a similar problem, and come to find out it was my mobo drivers. I just upgraded and haven't had any problems since!!
