How would I go about completely uninstalling every last bit of firefox so I can do a reinstall?
An uninstall isn't good enough as afterward i try to reinstall and have the same problem.
I have had the problem before where I keep loosing my bookmarks and also I can't bookmark pages now to boot.
I would rather not try a repair again if I can just totally wipe it out and start it from scratch again.
I have my bookmarks backed up which is all i need.

Download and install RegCleaner - don't do anything with it yet.
Uninstall FireFox from Add/Remove Programs - reboot - Remove the C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox folder from Windows Explorer - remove C:\Documents and Settings\*your user profile*\Application Data\Mozilla - Run RegCleaner and remove the Mozilla entries that pertain to FireFox. You'll see the entries in the default view of RegCleaner, which should be open to the software tab - reboot - reinstall FireFox.
