i have a compaq 5320us that came with xp home preloaded. i bought a new hard drive and imaged the old one everything is fine but now i would like to put in xp pro.my question is , can i wipe BOTH hard drives and install the actual xp pro disc or will there be problems because it was a preloaded pc.ive heard things about preloaded os and motherboards "rely" on each other. thanks

I'm sure it should be fine. I had a computer that had windows 98 preloaded and i had to replace the old drive and the new drive with windows xp installed from a disc, worked fine.
