Installed XP in da wifes machine, but I cannot find any drivers for the compaq ij300 aka Lexmark inkjet 4100! $$@#$$@@!!! Might just chunk the printer in the trash and buy real printer! Compaq nevermore! Anyone seen any drivers yet? Thanks!

Ummmmmmm thanks early, but if you'll check you will not find any drivers for that #. Already checked it out before I came here. Also went to www.drivershq.com/ to no avail. Anyone else got any ideas? Compaq site is a dud as well. Appreciate the help. Still searching.................

Ok, finally found the correct drivers for this printer. It seems the Compaq IJ300 is actually a Lexmark (yeah, we knew that) Z11 series-colorfine printer. Good 'ol XP sez it was a 4100 series. Go figure. Anywho found the intial drivers @ driverguide.com. Tis a win2k driver W2KZ11E.exe. And yes, there is an upgrade for this @ the Lexmark site. So all is well printer works fine.............now if I can just get the vid card workin in my sons 'puter........never any rest for the geeks, eh? Once again thanks Early, for the effort.
