when you turn on my desktop it goes to a screen that says compaq and has 3 choices to push, esc, f1 and f10. esc goes to boot menu, f1 goes to system settings and f10 which does not work system recovery. If i take out the hard drive it does the same thing. the only time it boots to a different screen is when I take out the 2032 battery and reinstall it. either way it ends at a screen that says disc drive error install systen disc and press enter. I have no disc and recovery on computer can not be accessed.
