Ever since installing XP Pro I have not been able to get my DVD player to work properly. The software appears to be working, but I can't find an updated driver anywhere that will allow the drive to work under XP. Any suggestions?
ron the dvd decoder from me or 98 will not work inxp
check compaq for updated dvd decoder,and then check google for xp compatible dvd decoders,download one and use it
2 if the dvd is not listed in device manager as working ,check the compaq site for a firmware update for xp,and or a driver update for xp and download install them
3 if none of your cdroms work in xp ,remove your incompatible cd burning software,and then follow q314060 from the support.microsoft.com website
