You may want to check the temp of your system. May not be cool enough. There is a free program called motherboard monitor.

Are you overclocking? If so, that may be your problem..

did you recently update your gfx drivers to the 'detonator 40' ones? this could be the problem.

i have the same problem and i recently updated my geforce4 drivers to these. havent tried reverting to the old ones cos i want to keep nview2.0, but you might want to give it a shot.

Don't mix memory chips with different speeds ex pc133 and pc100. Try just using one of them and see if the problem persists.

thanks for your unput guys, I think I resolved the problem. Max I think you hit this one on the dot. I took out my stick of pc100 ram and my system hastn crashed since. So we today im going to go pick up another stick of pc133 and see how it handles. Thanks again for the speedy responses. Also, where can I get that motherboard monitoring program? Does it just show you what temp it running at?
