comp freezes sometimes

computer is started to freeze sometimes. just freezed when i launch a game. after that it has freezed two times when browsing with Opera. there was about week between those freezes. i have no idea why computer is now starting to freeze?? can it be overheating? MB is about 40 celsius and CPU about 49 C. there's no any rule when it freezes.

edit. in fahrenheit those heat numbers are MB 105 and CPU 120

did you add any hardware recently? Try removing it and see if the problem goes away...defrag you comp and check for viris/adware...you comp does not seem to be over heating...but what kind of video card do you have...is the heat sync on you video card to hot to touch?...if so you vid card might be over heating...for you cpu...it sound like its cold enough...whats the make of your system...desktop or laptop? most comps are fine untill they get to about 60 or 70 c (not recomended)what type of proccessor does you comp use?

well, i now uninstalled my chipset VIA Hyperion Pro drivers and installed back older 4in1 4.56 drivers. let see if that solved the problem.
