I accidentally copied command.com, io.sys, and ms-dos.sys to my XP system from the windows 98 boot disk and now my computer won't start, I can only get into ms-dos. Is there anyway to get those files back to my system, like downloading them?
unfortunately, it's not that simple. you'll need to get the disk so you can do a repair install.
