i have roxio 7.5 but it will not allow me to import .avi files, is there a codec that anyone can suggest that might fix this problem? thanks!

I'm not sure about the Roxio burning software, it used to be pretty crappy.

Anyway give the K-Lite codec pack a try, it may fix the problem...

Exercise care when you download codecs - beware the Fake Codecs. Once installed you will end up with Zlob Trojans (similar to the closely related Vundo Trojan) malware that usually masquerade itself as a codec needed to play a video.

I've installed both codec packs that Oracle and Wombat gave me but it's still not letting me import the avi files
