ok,

when i turn on the power the compy starts to run.. but the monitor just flashes. I tried to clear cmos by removing the battery for 30 seconds.. still nothing.

i cannot locate the jumper and the manual doesnt tell me how to clear it that way anyways.

all that happens is the monitor flashes. im stumped. still.

oh one other quick question.. sometimes when i post, the post appears in the forum, then after a few minutes it isnt there anymore? does that happen often? if i try to re post it says it already exists, but i dont see it. hmm.. anyways thanks for any help i can get!

Dave

why do you think clearing the bios will solve your video issue?

perhaps more info like when this started would help.

to clear the bios look up your mainboard at the manufacturers site and read the docs. they will tell you which jumper.
