I power ON my Pc and an error message that came says ' CMOS Display Type Wrond, and asked me to press F1 to run setup and F2 to ... default settings. After press any of the option it is demanding a password. What password should I us?

Note: this is a General Hardware issue not an xp issue.

The password being asked for is for the CMOS access.

If you don't remember it you will need to clear cmos back to defaults and then reconfigure.
