Comment:

Everytime I start XP after logging In I get a pop up window of the c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe running in the main window....It has never popped-up before and I would like to know how to get rid of it.

I have tried the program properties tab but there is not option to run the program minimised.

Any ideas???

Reply:

run services.msc or msconfig and find out if it is in a load up automatically state. Just disable it if it is and all should be well.

hope this helps
