CMD: Change uppercase to lowercase

I have a batchfile that asks for a certain input. This input then gets written to text file. I want the output to be all lowercase. Even if the user puts in uppercase. So I want to convert alle uppercase characters to lowercase.

I would suggest applying yourself and learning. Your first resource should be to use google - you might have come up with this very useful page: http://www.comp-air.com/vfrazee/batch/
Though a few links on it are outdated.
