I took Clipboard and paint off at some point in the past and now need them back. When I go through the Add/Remove feature to upload the Windows components again it tells me to load the XP disk. This is a refurbished Dell and it didn't come with an XP disk. How can I get those features back?

see if you have a i386 folder on the drive. It contains what you need. If you don't have a i386 folder you should be able to have a friend lend you one to load those componets.

How did you get rid of them ???
That may help to get them back.

If you can COPY and PASTE, then Clipboard may not be gone.

Try Start, then RUN, then type
clipbrd

Suggest you install a better Clipboard than the MS single-line one, Google for a free one such as ClipBoard Buddy which can store multiple entries, from http://download.cnet.com/Clipboard-...
