I have a program called "Click and Burn" for burning data and such but I had to reinstall it and now everytime I click on the program the burn a disk the following error message comes up: "No compatible Recorder drives have been found in this computer" . I then click OK and the program opens and after I drag what data I want to burn into program and press "Record" then the following message comes up: "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range". Thus I am now unable to use the program. What does this error message mean and how can I get rid of it so I can use Click and Burn once again to burn disks. You can try this. It may fix it. Only do this if you are comfortable with editing the registry!! Create a Restore point and back up the registry.Open regedit. Look for; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\CurrentControlSet\SetControlClass. Key name: {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} Value Data:[Delete all value data from upper and lower filters] Note-Do not delete the key or the multi-string values. Delete only the data values. Exit regedit and reboot.

I use Roxio 5.0, and the other day i got the same error message "No compatible Recorder drives have been found in this computer" while trying to burn something. Therefore I re-installed Roxio and the problem got fixed. I would suggest un-installing the software "click and burn" from add/remove programs and from Registry as well, and then try re-installing it. I used the solution given by "PER" when I couldn't see the CD-ROM drive, meaning delete upper filter and lower filter keys and then re-booting the PC and was able to see my cd-rom drive. I dont know if thats the solution to your problem. Let me know whatever works out for you.. Stud_in_Luv
