Comment:

When I go into my Run command and type a letter such as "e" or "w", a list of (what I assume) recently opened websites or files from the internet will drop down. I have cleared the run history in the Registry, and cleared the Recent Docs, but it doesn't clear out these files that pop up when I type in certain letters. How can I clear these out of the run prompt? I know it takes more than just deleting RunMRU because I have tried that many times.

This info is held in your Cache, History, Cookies, Index.dat. etc. Do as jam says to clean it all out.

If you mean the Start, Run Box, do the following.

Go to Start, Settings, Taskbar & Start Menu.
Click on the Start Menu.
Click on the "Classic Start Menu" & Click the Apply Tab.
Click on the Customize Tab.
Click the Clear Tab and now you have cleaned out the Run Open: Box.

For some reason clearing the IE7 History will also clear the Run Box
