Well, I am not sure what you mean. Do yuou mean the links in the address bar for that you just hit delete but other wise clear your history. Sorry

When I click on a link it becomes purple, It means I have visited the page.I don't want to anyone to see that I visited that page. The only way I know is if I clear the history but I don't want to clear the history I just want to clear the particular link I clicked

The 2 are tied together. Visited links are cleared by clearing the history.

To clear some but not all.. Open up history view in internet explorer and manually right click /delete specific entries.

After deleting the entry you must refresh the page to have the visited color go away.

Also.. if you have visited the same link several days in a row you have to go thru each day in history and locate the link and delete it again. Deleting it today wont remove the visited color if its still stored in history from yesterday.

Another thing.. some sites will be listed as www.whatever.com and whatever.com without the www. Be sure to look thru both folders if this is the case.
