Comment:

How do I clear the list of recently viewed/played media files in the Windows Media Player?( rev 8 or 9?) When I do a file open to play other files, the list keeps getting longer and I'd like to clear it from time to time.
Thanks in advance,
Scott

Scooter-Z, there are plenty of tweaking programs or sole registry tweaks you can perform on the registry through regedit.exe (Start > Run > Type in "regedit". Just do a search on Google for "Disable or *Remove (whatever). Good luck.

Scooter-Z,
Look in your e-mail I sent you an .vbs file I downloaded from http://www.dougknox.com/. If you put it on your hard drive and double click it, it will erase the resent list from WMP. You can right click and press edit to see which registry entry it deletes if you want to look and delete them yourself.
