my Desktop-Background shows the rest of an old image JUST in one corner of the screen.

How can I clean/reset the Background-picture?

Right click on desktop select properties, select desktop/background tab and change background image

Did you try to select "none" on the background part? I am sure it will remove any background image that you used. If you try that and you still see it, then I can't think of anything else.

Hi, annonymus;

it´s so WEIIRD, i did JUST THAT,
doesn´t work, i still have a rest of a wallpaper in the right lower corner of the screen.
This is a pretty new acer, running pretty well, this must be some perverted window-trick
(sorry).
This is my friends machine.

Patrick, Go into Display Properties, under the Desktop tab click the Customize Desktop button, under the Web tab uncheck everything including My Current Homepage, click OK/Apply/OK.
