Cisco VPN Client

Hello, Our high speed ISP provider offers McCafee's suite of products including the firewall. My issue is this: The firewall asks to block Cisco VPN Client. I have never knowingly installed this Cisco VPN Client. Do you have any idea what program may be using it, or any reason I would have this on my machine? Thanks!

Look at your owners manual or online reference. Some comuters have a vpn solution OEM. As a general rule you should block anything you are unsure of. You can later open it up if it causes problems.

VPN is used for private connection to internet on packet level of OSI. If you don't use it you cn uninstal it. It is non-critical. Giro Timussi
