I am unable to open any chm file. When I open the file I get a message
"cannot open the file: mk:@MSITStore: " file location in the hard drive ending filename.chm"
I would like to know which program is causing the error. If some one can guide me I will be able to reinstall.

You need to create a file association. Just out of curiosity, why do you need to open those files? LIR
