chm files dont open

November 10, 2009 at 05:36:49
Specs: Windows XP, 2.67 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 1984 Megabytes Installed Memory

I am unable to open any chm file. When I open the file I get a message
"cannot open the file: mk:@MSITStore: " file location in the hard drive ending filename.chm"
I would like to know which program is causing the error. If some one can guide me I will be able to reinstall.
I have attached the snap shot of the file to understand the problem

thanks

pscraja

You need to create a file association. Just out of curiosity, why do you need to open those files?
