chkdsk on every start up

Every time i turn on my pc , windows starts performing chkdsk (one of your disks needs to be checked for consistency).. I m properly shutting down my pc but still i m facing this problem.. can you guys please help me! Thanks

adil8, take a look at your start menu in the control panel and be sure it's not there.

Another possible.

Chkdsk.exe or Autochk.exe starts when you try to shut down or restart your computer
