chkdsk on every start up

Every time i turn on my pc , windows starts performing chkdsk (one of your disks needs to be checked for consistency).. I m properly shutting down my pc but still i m facing this problem.. can you guys please help me! Thanks

adil8, take a look at your start menu in the control panel and be sure it's not there. HTH. Ed in Texas.
