I run CHKDSK it shows " WARNING !
F parameter not specified.
runing CHKDSK in read-only mode"
Then I out CHKDSK C:/F even this command does not fix it .
How can I fix this error.
Is something wrong with hard drive or not.

Thanks.

How to Perform Disk Error Checking in Windows XP

Scan Options include ---
"Automatically fix file system errors"
"Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors"

Perhaps the easier way to go is "To run Chkdsk
from My Computer or Windows Explorer"
Check mark both items under "Check Disk Options",
on your way into starting Error-Checking Tool.
--------------------------
I would say that you need a space in the command, like this --
CHKDSK C: /F

In the Command Prompt, type
chkdsk /?
for more information about switches.
