Hi, i just wanted to know, is there any way in which you can check the actual date your Windows XP Professional installation is? For example, you can have Build 2600, but where can i found the month it was designed\released, so to speak???
thnks

Get a software called Everest, this will tells you when the OS was installed on the machine, not sure about the designe/released date thiough

OK, according to Wiki (not a software), it was released October 25, 2001. But I still don't know of a software to find the design date.

Yup!
And the watermark on your XP Pro installed system should show that as well - Windows XP Professional Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 (Service Pack 2)
050301-1519 = date & time stamp
