Hi, i just wanted to know, is there any way in which you can check the actual date your Windows XP Professional installation is? For example, you can have Build 2600, but where can i found the month it was designed\released, so to speak??? thnks

I am not aware of a way to accomplish that.

Get a software called Everest, this will tells you when the OS was installed on the machine, not sure about the designe/released date thiough http://www.lavalys.com/

OK, according to Wiki (not a software), it was released October 25, 2001. But I still don't know of a software to find the design date.
