changing the name of printers in XP

Hi

simple question..

How do i change the name of a printer in XP? I currently have 2 printers installed on my Computer, and they are networked printers. Is there any way of changing the name of them rather than having the path as the name..eg..\\bran\dp100_sales_lpt1 etc etc??

Go into "Printers and Faxes" in the START menu, select your printer, right click it and select "Rename".

Done!

Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!
