Hi Guys, It is assumed that i am using a wrong window product key, bcos some installation always refer to this error. Now, where.how can i locate where this number could be changed since i still have my original xp cd with me to change it. Many thanks in Advance, Posiotives

I agree with Wanderer. A program that you are installing will have no idea what your Windows Product Key 'should' be.

To me it sounds like he wants to check his current cd-key and change it to the one that came with his windows cd, which that program can do.

Jelly Bean will allow you to change key but it may cause a re-activation of XP, just visit Windows Update afterwards and it will inform wether or not it is a VALID key.
