Is it possible to change the name of the original user account I have two computers with the Name "Owner" both have been used for a year on the Owner profile and now I want to Connect them to my new Home Server & I have two computers with the name Owner.
I have tryed renaming it to "TCG" and it changes but only on a surface level (don't know another way to discribe this) if I look into the C:Documents and settings it is still listed as "Owner".
Can I change this?

The actual folders won't change names. This is by design as many of the programs you have installed reference files within these folders and changing the name would break the program. However, there is no reason you should need to change the names of these folders. The name Windows uses for network log-ons and such is the name you have set in the "Users" control panel applet.

Hi Ryan
When Windows Home Server looks for the user associated with the computer that is added it looks for the name in Docs and settings "Owner".
I have tried syncing the user name that I use "TCG" with the user I added to the WHS "TCG" but it dose not recognize the user.
If I did create a new user on my computer is there an easy way to transfer all the data from the old profile to the new one?

It would look for the account name, not the profile name. And as said above, you can't rename the profile.
