Hello, I wish to change the .wav icon in windows xp. I have looked in the file types to do this but it does not give that option to change the icon for every wav file as in windows 98. Could someone please tell me how to change file icons. Thanks

I don't know if this will work for you but it's worth a try. Right click your wav.file than rest your mouse on Send to. Click Desktop (create shortcut.) Go to your desktop and right click the shortcut you made and click properties than click the shortcut tab. There is the command at the bottom to change the Icon.

I forgot to say this will not change every wav.file, they will have to be done individually.
