Changing File Extensions

Hi there

I am trying to upload some pics to my
website, but it seems that a lot of the file
extensions in my folders are upper case (JPG,
GIF rather than jpg, gif) - and so are not
recognised when linked to on a web page.

Is there any way that I can easily make all of
the extensions in a folder lower case?

Otherwise, how can I do it? When I click on
the individual files to change their names, the
extension doesn't show.

Thanks

Guy

Open Folder Options,
then View tab,
then uncheck the box for "Hide extentions for known file types"

Then for Rename file, do lower case letters after the dot.
