Changing FAT 32 in XP to NTFS In XP

Hello: I installed Windows XP over Windows 98 SE and ended up with FAT 32 for a file system.
How can I correct this without reformating the hard drive?

Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Command Prompt. In the command prompt window, type: convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs (convert c: /fs:ntfs press enter)
