I have a certain program for which the CD needs to be in Drive D. The problem is that my 2 CD drives are E and F respectively- I do not have a Drive D at all.
Can I somehow change one of them so that it would, in fact, be drive D? Thanks

Start rt click My Computer, click manage. Click Disk management. Move to lower rt pane and right click your first CD drive. Click Change Drive letter and paths. Change this drive to D and problem solved.

Be careful as your current D: drive may be hidden and may contain the factory image of your C: drive.
My curiosity needs to know what requires that the drive letter be the letter D:? I have not seen this requirement before.

If a programe which is normally run from CD (game for instance) is installed whilst the CD is say D and then the letter changes for whatever reason, the programe will no longer run.
To avoid this problem I always make my CD or DVD-ROM Z then it cannot get displaced by additional drives etc.
