change my shortcut text color

Just wondering if you can change the text color of desktop shortcuts. Didn't see it right off hand in desktop properties, i have a light colored background that makes it hard to see white.

Found no adjustment for Font(text) color. Change your Wallpaper to one that is a darker color. That is the Desktop tab in Properties. There is a list of Background selections to choose from.

well i know how to do that, it's just that my wife likes the light picture that she has as her background.
