is it possible to change the icons in My Computer? i can see the icons that i want to change them to in the shell32.dll file but dont know how to make the change.

RIGHT CLICK ON DESKTOP area click PROPERTIES click DESKTOP tab click CUSTOMIZE DESKTOP click MY COMPUTER click CHANGE ICON click OK when finished

that doesnt allow me to change the icon of the devices inside My Computer (ex. A:drive, Zip drive etc...) may or may not be a way, just curious if there is. thanks

Hi Adam, As far as I know there is not a way to change those icons. Typically to change the icons in XP you would right click on the icon and "change icon" but it is not an option in My Computer.
