inside a folder i have created since Windows ME, I want to change the color of the font but don't know how. WIN XP don't have that feature...but there must be a html/htm file somewhere in there that i cannot locate. help...i hope you know what am i talking about.
IN A FOLDER! YOU SEE FILE, I WANT TO CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE FILE NAME. IT WAS CHANGE-ABLE BACK IN WINME...I HAVE MADE A UPGRADE TO XP NOW
I don't think XP will let you do that. It uses different colors for certain types of files (blue for compressed, red for restricted I think, etc). Go to View, then click Customize This Folder. That's about all you can do.
Right click on desktop select properties now select appearance next click on advanced. now on the list that says color overrides at the bottom of the list it says window text. click on that. now click on set color and pick a new color then click ok, then click close, then click ok. that's it you are done
